The ACT NOW Grand Prize is all about recognising and celebrating companies, projects, and individuals that make a real impact in Albania with their innovation. Along with recognition, the winner of the Grand Prize will be awarded a financial prize of 50,000 EUR to support the continued development and implementation of their project.
Who can apply? Individuals, companies, and organizations of all sizes from Albania or Albanian speaking countries are eligible to apply. All applicants must demonstrate active involvement in at least one of the specified areas (Startup Innovation, Research, Cybersecurity, Fintech, AI, Social Impact etc.) and must have progressed beyond the idea stage, with proven traction.

You should demonstrate the use of innovative technologies at the core of your solution. This includes the creative application of digital tools, platforms, or systems to address challenges in new and effective ways.
Impact Projects and Actions that create added value, driving positive change and growth in the ecosystem they operate, while making a lasting impact.
Traction We do not focus on the age of your company, but make sure to highlight the traction that your project/business has achieved, whether through users, or financial performance.
Sustainability Show us how you commit to practices that prioritize environmental impact and promote social responsibility.
Scalability Show us your potential to scale globally and or be integrated in other applications or development opportunities.

The Youth Prize recognizes young innovators who have developed impactful and innovative solutions or projects, demonstrating creativity, dedication, and meaningful contributions in their field.
Who can apply? This prize can apply to young people from Albania or Albanian speaking countries with creative projects and potential for growth and great impact. The project must be original and created by the applicant(s), not copied or directly replicated from another initiative. The applicants should be aged 16-25 years old.

Innovation & Originality We are looking for projects that have creativity and uniqueness by offering fresh ideas or solutions that effectively address specific challenges and make an impact. If your project has already gained traction, please mention it in the application form.

Execution & Feasibility Make sure to clearly state how practical and achievable the project is, given the resources and challenges that come with being a young innovator. We want to see the progress that has been made so far.
Social & Economic Contribution Please highlight how the project contributes to the community or society, with a focus on youth empowerment, job creation, or increasing access to digital resources for young people.
Youth Leadership and Initiative Your initiative should be led or co-led by you, showing that you take ownership, show leadership, and are driven to make a difference. We’re looking for clear signs of your commitment, motivation, and resilience..
